Grate and Frame configuration is used mainly in external applications where the builder forms their own channel below.

• Grates are made from wedge shaped Stainless Steel (wedgewire) which stops solid matter from getting caught in between grates, making it ideal for external applications.
• Longitudinal direction of wires allows for superior drainage as well as visually increasing the length of the area.
• Wedgewire is in HeelGuard formation so as to avoid high heels getting caught in the gaps.
• Removable Stainless Steel grates for easy access to channel below.
• Grate and Frame can be curved along the length of the run.
• Dux Platinum Grates exceed AUST STD AS/NZS 3661.1 1993 for slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces.
• Additional Non-slip dimples can be added to Grating if required.
• Gap size and Wire head size able to be varied depending on application.
• Standard Wedgewire Grates are wheel-chair compliant.
• Lockdowns are available on all grates for additional security and for vehicular traffic.
• Standard depth of the frame is 25mm, however can be increased depending on the load requirement of the application.
• Grates can be made to accommodate loads from pedestrian through to Heavy Duty and are load tested to AUS STD 3996 1992 / DIN 19 580 - 1986
